During active ionospheric research, the signal generated by the transmitter system is delivered to the antenna array, transmitted in an upward direction, and is partially absorbed, at an altitude between 100 to 350 km (depending on operating frequency), in a small volume a few hundred meters thick and a few tens of kilometers in diameter over the site.

AN INSIDERS STORY- FROM HAARP'S BACK YARD

"Since we live in the Copper Valley Area, in HAARP's backyard so to speak, we have been very interested in what they are doing with this quasi military/research/educational program of ionospheric research and what effects it might have on our local community.

The High-frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HAARP) is a congressionally initiated program jointly managed by the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Navy.  

The HAARP complex is situated within a 23-acre lot in a relatively isolated region near the town of Gakona, Alaska. It consists of 180 towers, 72 feet in height, forming a "high-power, high frequency phased array radio transmitter" capable of beaming in the 2.5-10 megahertz frequency range, at more than 3 gigawatts of power (3 billion watts).

Military applications of HAARP include long-range ground penetration radar, over the horizon radar. It may also be used as a beam weapon as some of the patents suggest. However, of the 12 main patents applied to HAARP the four following are of great interest to my field of ion research.

In year 2004 , about a quarter of the estimated 130,000 cellular towers across the U.S. were camouflaged, some as trees, others as flagpoles and still others as church steeples.

"A meeting has taken place recently between an investigative researcher and a well placed military source. The identity of both parties is to be protected. The source has intimate knowledge of at least one aspect of the aerosol operations, and asserts the following:

• 1. The operation is a joint project between the Pentagon and the pharmaceutical industry.
• 2. The Pentagon wishes to test biological diseases for war purposes on unsuspecting populations. It was stated that SARS is a failure as the expected rate of mortality was intended to be 80%.
• 3. The pharmaceutical industry is making trillions on medications designed to treat both fatal and non-fatal diseases given to populations.
• 4. The bacteria and viruses are freeze-dried and then placed on fine filaments for release.
• 5. The metals released along with the diseases heat up from the sun, creating a perfect environment for the bacteria and viruses to thrive in the air supply.
• 6. Most countries being sprayed are unaware of the activities and they have not consented to the activities. He states that commercial aircraft flying are one of the delivery systems.
• 7. Most of the "players" are old friends and business partners of the senior Bush.
• 8. The ultimate goal is the control of all populations through directed and accurate spraying of drugs, diseases, etc.
• 9. People who have tried to reveal the truth have been imprisoned and killed.
• 10. This is the most dangerous and dark time that I have experienced in all of my years of serving this country.
